Prints
of the illustrations are created using an Epson Stylus ink jet printer using Claria Hi-Definition Ink and are printed on
acid-free artists paper. A variety of mat colors are available, so please let me know if you have a preference.
If not specified, white mat will be used.
*Limited
edition prints* are also available (only 8x10 inch size). These will be double-matted, numbered
and signed. Only limited edition prints will possess the Hanko signature, a Japanese personalized stamp. They
will also include the photograph (also signed) that inspired the illustration. (Note: Not all illustrations are
available as limited edition prints).

I recently illustrated "Takako and the Great Typhoon"
a children's book set in Okinawa, Japan. My ultimate goal for this book was to create vividly colorful and detailed
illustrations that would capture the uniqueness and beauty of Okinawa. I hope that these illustrations have brought
this wonderful story to life and that the book will be enjoyed by both children and adults for years to come.
